Hertfordshire born Frank, Lags, Steph, Stuart and Lee have made a lot of noise in a relatively short time since starting the band in 2005; gaining a well-deserved reputation as one of the most vital and exciting bands in the UK. The notoriously outspoken band released their second album, ‘Grey Britain’, earlier this year. It painted a visceral picture of an angry young Britain in the midst of a recession that continues to resonate but also harks back to an earlier time when this kind of political punk was much more widespread.
As well as taking over CTRL online, the band have hand picked a line-up of scorching hot new UK bands for CTRL live, taking place on October 29th at the Flapper in Birmingham. Headlining the night are NME Future 50 stars, Invasion, fronted by Chan Brown who belts out unexpedtedly soulful vocals amidst the heavy rock madness generated by the rest of the band. Apparently Chan is also no stranger to some fairly shamanistic dressing up; throw in those riffs and a rumoured perspex guitar and the live show looks like an electrifying prospect.

i think this years ‘topman’ is peter andre… we all know who his wife was
i think this becuase thorughout this year he has done so much for his children and he has respected himself and his fans by not saying petty things to the camera’s and newpapers etc. i think he gives a good name to all the ‘topmen’ out their and it just goes to show that men can look after their children, cook, clean, fend for themselves and still have respect for women
