SALT OPTICS, The Independent Optics Company, has just released some of their latest models. Established in 2006 and located in Souther California, the founders set out to establish a market for individuals with a unique sense of style and taste - pushing away from the overarching conglomorates and licensed brands. SALT has since proven that there IS room in the marketplace for “a company that thinks differnently than the rest”.

These styles seem really familiar. Are they an Oliver Peoples brand like Mosley Tribes or are they just a rip off of Oliver Peoples? Is there a relation?
You hit the nail on the head! These guys use to work for Oliver Peoples. One of the guys actually came into a shop that I use to work at and claimed he was one of the designers for Oliver Peoples. I later find out that he was in sales for Oliver Peoples and the designer from Salt use to work in production for Oliver Peoples. So yes it’s a total rip off of Oliver Peoples.
