Hooked. On repeat. Listen up.
We’re back. Expect the unexpected. It’s going to be big, and we show no signs of slowing down. Jamie Richards, the talented kid behind Just JR, helps us kick off our relaunch (well, it’s more like we’re now out of our long-term hibernation) with a collage inspired by all things The Malcolm. Conceived by him, we’re ready to rock and roll. Check back daily. Seriously. We’re not kidding.

Last night, guests gathered at The Gramercy Park Hotel to toast the launch of Rachel Zoe’s latest collaboration with QVC. Put on by the talented team over at SPEC Entertainment, Zoe’s collection will be officially unveiled once August hits, and will be available through the fall. With everything under $200.00, Zoe managed to create her signature look of oversized sunglasses, caftans and her iconic totes.
Some of my favorites happen to be her latest range of accessories - on point, affordable and well made.
Check it out.

For the third year in a row, Levi’s® has teamed up with GQ Magazine and Bloomingdale’s to honor some of the brightest young talents in the fashion industry as part of the Best New Menswear Designers in Americaproject. With that, six designers were selected by the editors of GQ to compete for a $50,000 cash prize and the opportunity to create a limited-edition collection designed in partnership with designers from the Levi’s®brand. On February 12, 2010, designer Billy Reid was chosen as the winner and, since then, he has been working in conjunction with the Levi’s® design team on this highly anticipated and collectible line, which will debut debut at several Bloomingdale’s locations this fall. To highlight this process, a behind-the-scenes series of documentary videos were created. As part one in the series, this video goes back to the start, giving an inside glimpse into the early stages of the program, where each of the 6 nominated designers comes face-to-face with the judging panel. In this crucial meeting, each designer presents pieces from their forthcoming Fall 2010 collections, while also explaining their aesthetic and design process.
Industrie is the first and only media title dedicated to presenting an independent, in-depth look at the fashion industry, going behind the scenes to chronicle the personalities, stories and defining moments in the world of fashion. Founded in 2009 by Erik Torstensson and Jens Grede, of the saturday-group, industrie aims to shift focus away from current collections and trends and provide a considered insight into the culture of fashion. industrie documents the individuals who influence fashion and critically examines the ideas which shape it. Industrie is published twice a year, distributed internationally by comag and updated continually on industriemagazine.com
