So when people ask “What is a typical day for Susie Bubble like?”, I’m not sure if they think I’m constantly jetting off around the world or involved in a series of fashionable rendez-vous or actually, people think I sit at home, blogging at a leisurely pace. When in fact, most of my time is spent slaving away at work (Dazed & Confused, where I’m the editor of DazedDigital.com) and actually Mac Mail is my most often used application. This doesn’t really make for a riveting screen shot post, so over a few days, I’ve captured my screen when it starts to look a BIT more exciting…
Check it out below…

This Marc Quinn polaroid, and in fact this whole polaroid series is seriously making me consider putting some money towards an art fund as opposed to frittering my cash away on clothes.

Studio Thomson has just done an exhibition at bStore in London…. I love all their print work, especially the stuff they’ve done for Liberty and Preen…

This image is from the current Dazed December issue for the Spike Jonze x Maurice Sendak feature. This photo was taken by Leigh Johnson at Sendak’s house…. a whole house full of Where the Wild Things Are memorabilia would be a happy one indeed…

Aussie label Mania Mania’s jewellery literally makes me want to go starkers in a desert and dye my hair grey….

Some dude called Debashree Dey wanted to BUY Dazed Digital.com! Yeah sure, we’ll sell it for ONE HUNDRED BAJILLION DOLLARS!

It’s all about Delphic’s Acolyte album at the moment!

On my beloved Twitter….yes, I’m a Twitter Twerp…. I think I’m co-ordinating some kind of strategy for the Christopher Kane sample sale with Tommy Ton of Jakandjil.com/blog…. sadly, the sale was a leeeetle more pricy than I had anticipated….

Dutch photogrpaher Elza Jo loves all things cat-related, glittery and sheer….

Another Loves is an offshoot part of AnotherMag.com which is slowly being relaunched…. it invites people to LOVE items… I’m most definitely loving these Diego Dolcini beauties…

House of Organza was an exhibition on at Vogue Fabrics in East London…. it’s a collaboration between err…organza and a few of London’s finest designers. This is a shot by Mari Sarai of one of the collaborative efforts.

IBistrotheque in East London did another pop-up restaurant for Christmas which was only open for THREE DAYS. The amazing Gary Card did the snowflake installation that encased the restaurant…. I too, want to dine in a snowflake! Sadly I missed my chance because it was £67.50 a head and I’m currently surviving on baked beans on toast.

Sandra Backlund’s S/S 10 collection just got a whole lot better when I learnt she made the corset and arm cuff pieces out of…. her 60s old wallpaper from her hallway…. I’m quite amazed….

I need to get me some Miu Miu embroidered socks…. or at least attempt to sew on some beads/sequins….

One of my favourite blogs The Foxyman introduced me to this eBay seller who is selling all these steampunk round sunglasses…. will bag a few pairs once I’m with money again.

Am obsessed with trawling London-based food/restaurant blogs at the moment. An American in London is pretty good and makes me feel ashamed that I don’t seem to know my hometown as well as this Yank does…

Shrimpton Couture is a port of call for when I want to sign and ooh and aah over very very expensive but well-worth-it vintage…. they’ve recently collaborated with blogger The Glamourai for these kimono-inspired wraps made out of vintage kimono fabric…. I love love love the black diamond and blush one but they’re both now sold out…. the curse of a star blogger collaboration eh?

I’ve been on a home-rant lately as my furniture is rather lacking given that I rent a flat. Homeless is a great HK lifestyle/furniture store and I’m thinking of having this Osaka bench shipped over… it’s a place for my bum AND my mags…. PERFECTION!
