Last night, guests gathered at The Gramercy Park Hotel to toast the launch of Rachel Zoe’s latest collaboration with QVC. Put on by the talented team over at SPEC Entertainment, Zoe’s collection will be officially unveiled once August hits, and will be available through the fall. With everything under $200.00, Zoe managed to create her signature look of oversized sunglasses, caftans and her iconic totes.

Some of my favorites happen to be her latest range of accessories - on point, affordable and well made.

Check it out.

Chandelier Creative and Partner’s & Spade Present The Ultimate Toy for Boys
Richard Christiansen, advertising guru and founder of New York’s preeminent creative house, Chandelier Creative, has collaborated with Andy Spade and Anthony Sperduti and their acclaimed studio, Partner’s & Spade, to create the ultimate toy for boys– a five piece, 24 karat gold, limited edition toy soldier set.
Chandelier was founded around creativity, collaborations, and fun –Christiansen’s project with Partner’s & Spade is a perfect example of this.  The result; a luxe gift perfect for any dad.
An incandescent gold box embossed with bold text provides a simple and chic packaging for the set.  Inside, five individually crafted soldiers lay side by side. Each soldier is handmade, individually capturing a slightly different look and feel, so no two will be exactly the same.  In addition, they are all engaged in various activities – some are marching, some are standing guard, and others are taking pictures.
Accompanying the soldiers are four environmental props, also 24 karat gold, ranging from a chiseled brick wall and barrel that provide a safe place for cover, to a pile of debris that remains from battle.  Through adding these pieces to the set, Christiansen provides the means for one to fully envision the settings soldiers encounter on a daily basis.
The limited edition sets, numbered to 100, will be available to purchase exclusively at Partner’s & Spade beginning June 20th.  In addition, a celebration will be held at Partner’s & Spade this Father’s Day, June 20, 2010.

For the third year in a row, Levi’s® has teamed up with GQ Magazine and Bloomingdale’s to honor some of the brightest young talents in the fashion industry as part of the Best New Menswear Designers in Americaproject. With that, six designers were selected by the editors of GQ to compete for a $50,000 cash prize and the opportunity to create a limited-edition collection designed in partnership with designers from the Levi’s®brand. On February 12, 2010, designer Billy Reid was chosen as the winner and, since then, he has been working in conjunction with the Levi’s® design team on this highly anticipated and collectible line, which will debut debut at several Bloomingdale’s locations this fall. To highlight this process, a behind-the-scenes series of documentary videos  were created. As part one in the series, this video goes back to the start, giving an inside glimpse into the early stages of the program, where each of the 6 nominated designers comes face-to-face with the judging panel. In this crucial meeting, each designer presents pieces from their forthcoming Fall 2010 collections, while also explaining their aesthetic and design process.

Blending contemporary elegance with understated luxury, Oroton remains one of the most talked about brands in Australian fashion today, complete with innovative collections that are rivaled only by the history of the brand itself. In addition to jewelry, ties, sunglasses and silk scarves, an assortment of other items were added to the Oroton portfolio including leather accessories, umbrellas, knitwear and shoes, all of which reinforced their reputation as a trusted, quality brand unafraid of delving into design classics and re-interpreting them with a modern twist. After browsing through the Oroton website – we had to hand pick the men’s items that we need to get our hands on.

See our selections below.

erinkleinberG is a culimnation of Erin Kleinberg’s extensive industry experience, and a desire to fill a void in today’s vast contemporary womens marketplace.

For Fall 2010, Kleinberg hand selected famed downtown darling Annabelle Dexter-Jones to model in her look book. As someone who embodies effortless chic, Kleinberg’s latest collection consists of raw silk velvet, diamond cut chains and hand sewn metal mesh detailing. With a color palette consisting of navy with black, vintage dusty rose, and  rich taupe hues, Kleinberg’s role as a tee-shirt designer has since morphed into a sought after and much watched all encompassing entrepreneur. Currently selling at Barneys New York, Intermix and Lane Crawford in Hong Kong, Kleinberg’s collection, as always, embodies the essence of her designs – comfort paired with wearable creations. Shot on location at The Standard Hotel in New York City - Annabelle was styled by Emily Weiss and shot by Isabel Asha Penzlien.
